Barnes County Residents Benefit from Bank's Holiday Efforts

Valley City, N.D.—Once again, employees of Dacotah Bank in Valley City are making a list and checking it twice to help those less fortunate. The local bank is sponsoring the Community Gift Tree and supporting the Valley City High School – Hi-Liner Pantry.

Community Gift Tree gift items appropriate for infant through high school young people will be accepted at the bank through Friday, December 15. Gifts may be brought to Dacotah Bank at 240 3rd Street NW during regular business hours; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Dacotah Bank encourages everyone to giftwrap a Community Gift Tree item and label it for a boy or a girl and age.

The bank is accepting non-perishable food and hygiene items for deserving families to support the Hi-Liner Pantry.  Donations for the Hi-Liner Pantry may also be brought to the bank during the same hours until Friday, December 15.

Dacotah Bank is partnering with Abused Persons Outreach Center to distribute Community Gift Tree donations. For more information, please contact Dalene Brock at 845-2712 or send an email to
