Bank Leadership Academy Graduates 14
Joe Senger, President and CEO, and members of management formally recognize the graduation of the first class of Dacotah Bank's Academy. The Academy was developed to prepare individuals for future leadership roles in conjunction to succession planning.
Through the partnership of talent management and development and MDA Leadership, a leadership consulting firm from Minneapolis, Minnesota, the participants completed their journey through individual development, leadership skill-building, teamwork, and Action Learning projects. These projects were drawn from Dacotah Bank’s Strategic Plan and as a group developed viable solutions. They presented the projects to members of management on September 28th and received their graduation certificates.
Senger stated “I am very proud of each of the Academy graduates, Dacotah Bank’s future leaders. The time invested by the participants, their mentors, and the talent management team will certainly provide financial and performance rewards long into the future. The results of their project work and the discovery of their new ideas have already reaffirmed that Dacotah Bank is an employer of choice and a primary source of financial solutions for clients.”
With the completion of this successful Academy session, work is starting for the next class. Senger commented that, “In order to remain viable in a rapidly changing banking and financial services environment, developmental programs like this are critically important and Dacotah Bank will continue to provide such opportunities to our employees.”
